Where to go at Easter
As a child, I was lucky to have grown up in the wilds of Zimbabwe. I still have a pang of melancholy when I don’t spend Easter in Hwange or in the bush. As kids, we loved driving around at night with the guide and a spotting torch searching for the Easter Bunny hopping down the road with his load of our eggs in his back pack.
Now, as a parent, the enchantment is still very real when you watch on your own kids faces their excitement when you’re all out in the crisp Hwange night air, searching for anything that hops. And this is precisely what our guides will be doing with our guests this Easter time at Ivory Lodge in Hwange National Park. Memories will be made and we guarantee your little ones will never forget.
Night drives in Hwange National Park are not only about the hoppy things – it will also show you other night time animals, for example the cat family’s like Civet, Genet and Caracals as well as porcupines and honey-badgers.
So since I’m all about making memories, I know where I’ll be this Easter.
